PhD Marcin Sołtysiak is actively engaged in rebuilding Ukraine’s critical energy infrastructure. As an investor, expert, and leader in sustainable development, he initiates and leads strategic projects aimed at restoring damaged assets and developing resilient, modern energy systems across Ukraine.
Track Record and Investment Portfolio
PhD Sołtysiak owns 27 renewable energy projects – including biogas, biodiesel, bioethanol, RDF, photovoltaic farms, and wind farms – with a current total value of approximately EUR 700 million. By the end of the year, this portfolio is expected to grow to at least EUR 1.37 billion.
In parallel, he is spearheading the creation of a joint venture to build four small modular nuclear reactors (SMRs), each with a planned capacity of 300 MW. Each project is valued at approximately EUR 1.5 billion.
He is also the founder of the Green Platinum initiative – a business platform inviting companies interested in supplying products to Ukraine, acting as general contractors, or co-investing in energy reconstruction projects. To date, 927 companies have registered their interest through the Green Platinum platform.

Since the beginning of the war in 2022, Ukraine’s energy sector has suffered catastrophic damage, including:

More than 50% of national power generation capacity lost

Mission: Recovery and Transformation
In response, PhD Sołtysiak has initiated a dedicated Energy Recovery Investment Subfund, strategically designed to support Ukraine’s energy transformation through modernization, decentralization, and decarbonization.
Key Objectives of the Subfund:
Fast-track reconstruction of critical infrastructure in war-affected regions
Accelerate the transition to clean energy through investments in solar, wind, and bioenergy, as well as energy storage solutions
Develop smart grids and microgrid systems, and improve overall energy efficiency
Attract long-term institutional and professional investors through strong governance and ESG compliance
Deliver measurable social and economic impact, contributing to Ukraine’s recovery and its integration with the European energy market
